For the third time running, this up-to-date and innovative international event will be presenting intelligent concepts and concrete, practical examples from the sustainable building sector.
Under the congress motto "Sustainability – quo vadis?", Consense is picking up on the openness of the current debate. The central problems regarding protection of resources, user comfort and efficient performance have been identified and many solutions still need to be developed. In this respect, Consense also provides decisive impetus for the building and real estate industry. Many internationally renowned speakers have confirmed their attendence, including
- Stephen Kieran, KieranTimberlake Architects, Philadelphia
- Dr Niklas Maak, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Frankfurt am Main
- Prof. Hansruedi Preisig, Architekturbüro H.R. Preisig, Zurich
- Peter Rich, Peter Rich Architects, Johannesburg
- Michael von Rudloff, Unilever Deutschland, Hamburg
Consense offers orientation for architects, planners and contractors, as well as for investors, project developers and anyone involved in the rental and sale of real estate. The focus of the plenum and workshops will be concrete projects relating to sustainable building, central development in life-cycle management and the benefits of sustainability as a driver of innovation. The top-class trade fair will be held in parallel to the international congress.
The hosts of this one-of-a-kind industry meeting at the Stuttgart Trade Fair right at the airport are the DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) and the Landesmesse Stuttgart. Consense 2010 provides the ideal framework to strengthen contacts and establish new networks.
