Identifying role models for sustainable building, awarding them prizes and giving them a high-profile stage: This is what the DGNB has been doing for many years. This includes the German Sustainability Award for Architecture, which has established itself as the most important architectural award for sustainable buildings in Germany. It also includes the DGNB Sustainability Challenge, an annual award for exemplary innovations, start-ups and research projects.
In addition, the DGNB is involved in numerous other awards as a patron, partner or on the jury. Examples of these are the Green-BIM Awards and the Green Solutions Awards.
