This two-day training course focuses on the environmental goal of 'climate action' and outlines strategies for reducing emissions in the real estate sector. You will acquire the knowledge needed to prepare your own climate action roadmap for buildings in use in accordance with the DGNB Framework for Carbon Neutral Buildings and Sites, and learn how to apply it with confidence.
You will learn which aspects are essential when preparing a climate action roadmap, and how to transfer this knowledge to the DGNB's CO₂ accounting tool. Creating a climate action roadmap fulfils the 'Climate Action and Energy' (ENV1-B) criterion in the DGNB System for Buildings In Use, as well as the 'Building life cycle assessment' or 'Climate action and energy' (ENV1.1) criterion in the DGNB Systems for Renovation and New Construction.
You will also gain insights into technical monitoring in practice through an entertaining technical presentation. You will learn how continuous, measurement-based monitoring of technical installations can optimise building operations and help to achieve climate goals.
The event will take place digitally and in German.
The Expert Know-How – Climate Action Roadmap for Carbon Neutral Buildings course is part of the DGNB Buildings In Use Auditor training, although it can also be booked separately (even without admission restrictions) as a training program for any interested parties.
The DGNB Buildings In Use Auditor training spans three modules (Expert Know-How – Climate Action Roadmap for Carbon Neutral Buildings, Expert Know-How – Sustainable Buildings In Use and Certification Know-How – Sustainable Buildings In Use) and, after successful completion of the exam, qualifies participants to submit Building In Use projects to the DGNB for certification.
