Expert Know-How – Sustainable Buildings In Use

Gain the knowledge needed to apply the DGNB System for Buildings In Use in order to optimise the operation of existing buildings in terms of sustainability

This one-day training course will equip you with the knowledge needed to confidently apply the DGNB System Buildings In Use. You will learn about the key aspects of DGNB Certification for buildings in use.

Using examples, we will teach you the important characteristics of sustainable building operation and show you how to translate these into DGNB criteria.

The event will take place in person and in German.

The Expert Know-How – Sustainable Buildings In Use course is part of the DGNB Buildings In Use Auditor training, although it can also be booked separately (even without admission restrictions) as a training program for any interested parties.

The DGNB Buildings In Use Auditor training spans three modules (Expert Know-How – Climate Action Roadmap for Carbon Neutral Buildings, Expert Know-How – Sustainable Buildings In Use and Certification Know-How – Sustainable Buildings In Use) and, after successful completion of the exam, qualifies participants to submit Building In Use projects to the DGNB for certification.

We will send you a certificate of attendance which makes your acquired knowledge transparent.

It is not necessary to fulfil any admission requirements.
If you decide to take the DGNB Buildings In Use Auditor training course, you will need to provide evidence. You can find out more here.

The event will take place in person.

On the day of the event, you will have the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with the speakers and other prospective DGNB Auditors Buildings In Use. You will be informed of the exact location once you have completed booking. There will be two teaching units in the morning and afternoon, each lasting approximately 90 minutes.

A one-hour lunch break will be held together, and there will be two 30-minute coffee breaks with various snacks and fruit in the morning and afternoon.

Please note: This training course contains interactive elements and exercises and participants are encouraged to actively take part.
