This half-day training course will familiarise you with the EU taxonomy requirements and evidence needed for real estate. The focus is on the economic activities of 'Acquisition and Ownership', 'Renovation' and 'New Construction'.
If you have no prior knowledge of climate policy, we recommend taking the Subject Know-How ‘EU Taxonomy: Fundamentals of Climate Policy and Risks in the Real Estate Sector’ in advance.

The Subject Know-How – EU Taxonomy: ESG-Compliant Real Estatecourse is part of DGNB-Examined Expert on EU Taxonomy training, although it can also be booked separately (even without admission restrictions) as a staff training course for any interested parties.
The DGNB-Examined Expert on EU Taxonomy training course spans three modules (Subject Know-How – EU Taxonomy: Fundamentals on Climate Policy and Risks in the Real Estate Sector, Subject Know-How – EU Taxonomy: ESG-Compliant Real Estate and Subject Know-How – EU Taxonomy: Addressing Selected Environmental Objectives) and, after successful completion of the exam, qualifies participants to submit projects for ESG Verification for the EU Taxonomy.

The event will take place online via Zoom. You can conveniently log in with the dial-in link via the browser (no need to download the Zoom app) or the Zoom app. You can participate via desktop PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
We recommend using a PC or laptop with a camera, loudspeaker and microphone (alternatively: headset with microphone) as well as a stable internet connection. If you have problems with the audio quality, you can also dial in via a telephone.
You will receive your dial-in data two to three workdays in advance.
This course has been submitted to the Deutsche Energie-Agentur (dena) – the German Energy Agency – and the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects for recognition as continuing professional development (CPD). Submission for recognition by the Chamber of Architects of North Rhine-Westphalia is possible upon request up to two weeks before the start of the training.
