Our evaluation
After checking the label according to the requirements of the DGNB, we come to the following conclusion:
The mark TÜV PROFiCERT-product Interior PREMIUM (V1.3) is recognised for the criterion ENV1.2 Risks for the local environment as proof of compliance with the requirements for emissions according to the following table.
Justification
The TÜV PROFiCERT-product Interior PREMIUM label is awarded in cooperation between TÜV Hessen, TFI Aachen GmbH and Entwicklungs- und Prüflabor Holztechnologie GmbH (EPH) in the field of product certification and is a certification procedure developed for interior products.
The label distinguishes low-pollutant and low-emission building products and contributes to transparent statements on a comparable basis for the consumer. TÜV PROFiCERT-product Interior PREMIUM combines the emission requirements of various relevant eco-labels and the legal requirements and supports in particular the health and ecological aspects in the construction sector, thus promoting better indoor air quality.
The allocation criteria can be viewed by anyone and are regularly adapted to new findings and standards. Compliance with the allocation criteria is checked by means of regular and comprehensive controls in the form of monitoring, audits and repeat tests. The testing laboratories must have the appropriate accreditation.
If a label holder breaks the allocation criteria of the label, the certificate is temporarily suspended. If the deficiencies are not remedied or if no new certification audit takes place within the set period, the certificate is withdrawn. As a rule, the certificate is valid for three years, provided that the annual surveillance audits are carried out with positive results.
The recognition of the TÜV PROFiCERT-product Interior PREMIUM mark was based on the proof of equivalence submitted by the mark provider.
The basis of the recognition is the criterion ENV1.2 - Risks for the local environment in the 2018 version. The recognition is limited to the emission evidence of lines 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 13, 20, 23, 47a, 48 - New construction and interior - criteria matrix (Annex 1) and lines 1 and 2 - Interior - criteria matrix (Annex 2).
Validity
The recognition is valid for the certification level TÜV PROFiCERT-product Interior PREMIUM and is valid for one year from the release of this test report, i.e. until 9 October 2024.
After expiry, the recognition of the certification level TÜV PROFiCERT-product Interior PREMIUM shall be reviewed by TÜV PROFiCERT on the basis of confirmations or possible subsequent submissions.
