The DGNB Expert pool

To develop the DGNB System and tackle current issues, the DGNB draws on the expertise of the DGNB Expert pool members. DGNB Expert pool members are also actively involved in a variety of committees and ongoing projects with a bearing on the DGNB System. The DGNB and its committees frequently turn to these experts regarding certain topics, usually in order to tackle specific issues. The system also covers aspects relating to quality assurance, and regular meetings are held to give members of the DGNB Expert pool an opportunity to share their know-how.

All of the areas looked at by the DGNB Expert pool require a certain degree of technical expertise in order to safeguard standards. The DGNB Expert pool (formerly Expert Groups and Working Groups) thus brings together a variety of members with a proven level of expertise, who share a common commitment to current issues.
