Expo Real 2017: the property industry and its role in climate protection and architectural culture

The German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) is appearing at Expo Real in Munich from 4 - 6 October, offering a comprehensive programme of presentations and dialogue on Stand 334 in Hall A2. Among the topics that will be addressed are the role of the real estate industry in global climate protection and the connection between sustainability, building quality and future-orientated construction. The very latest developments in DGNB certification will also be showcased.

As in the past, the DGNB will appear at Expo Real on a stand shared with the Federal Chamber of Architects (BAK), the Federal Foundation of Baukultur and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB). The motto that has been adopted by the partners on the trade fair stand this year to underscore their common focus is Sustainable Baukultur. "Sustainability and architectural culture go hand in hand and this importance is also understood by the property industry," states Dr Christine Lemaitre, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) the DGNB. "Which other issues this affects and how the sector of industry can derive benefit from topics that will affect everyone in the future, is something we provide answers to on our stand."

One particular emphasis during the first two days at the trade fair will be a comprehensive programme of talks and open discussions. The following events will take place with the support of the DGNB:
