  • 2 years of relevant professional experience after studies
or
  • training in the real estate or construction sectors with five years of relevant professional experience

Note: All applications will be reviewed by the DGNB Approval and Review Committee, which has the final say on decisions concerning participant admission!

Qualification
A certificate of attendance will be awarded to all participants at the end of Module 1a.

Modul 1b: Spoznavanje kriterijev

A two-day training session on the DGNB Certification System, with a focus on consolidating knowledge of the system and featuring specific lectures on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Life Cycle Costing (LCC), and practical application of the DGNB criteria.

Izpit 1: DGNB Konzultant

An online exam on the course content of Modules 1a and 1b, made up of multiple-choice questions based on the training material presented during both Modules. Neither the DGNB manual nor the DGNB tools are needed.

Admission requirements
Participation in the training session of Modules 1a and 1b.

Qualification
After successfully passing Exam 1 the participant will be accredited as a DGNB Consultant.

Note:
Qualification as a DGNB Consultant is mandatory to become a DGNB Auditor.

Modul 2: Delavnica na pilotnem projektu

A training session incorporating a series of workshops centered around a pilot project, and with consequent submission of project-related documentation. During this phase of the training process the DGNB Consultant, who has acquired a building project to be certified, has the opportunity to apply the knowledge acquired about the DGNB Certification System to a real case study, and to work with a team of like-minded professionals from the building sector towards the common goal of a sustainable built environment. Once the submitted documentation has successfully passed a Conformity Inspection – based on DGNB documentation guidelines – the Consultant will be accredited as DGNB Auditor and the project will be awarded a DGNB Certificate.

For those consultants who have no real projects presently available, an alternative path to becoming a DGNB Auditor is offered – in this special case, the workshop will be based on a model (theoretical) project, to which the DGNB criteria will be applied. After the submission of a report and a successful review by the course instructors, the consultant will be qualified as a DGNB Auditor.

Admission requirements
Completed academic studies of architecture, civil or construction-related engineering, natural sciences, economics or building physics and

  • 4 years of relevant professional experience after studies
or
  • at least 8 years of professional experience and involvement in planning processes for sustainable building.

Note: All applications will be reviewed by the DGNB Approval and Review Committee, which has the final say on decisions concerning participant admission!
