DGNB special show: Designing sustainability – developing innovation

Sustainable solutions are developed through intelligent collaboration of designers and industry. DGNB was joining forces with respected partners in the construction and design industries to host the special show “Designing sustainability – developing innovation” and to showcase the potential for innovation in the growth market of sustainable construction.

In work reports experts profiled completed and certified projects to demonstrate how close collaboration between architecture and industry can create innovative product solutions for sustainable construction.

In addition to these case studies, a comprehensive lecture programme demonstrated how the DGNB System can be an effective design tool, explain the relevance of product selection for the sustainability of the building and present options for architects, designers and building product manufacturers to specialise as sustainability experts in their field.

In addition to this, DGNB offered visitors to the trade fair guided tours to explore and discuss key sustainable construction topics with selected exhibitors.
